Pictures of me

In response to popular request:

Me by Rocca Maggiore in Assisi.

La Bocca della Verità, the Mouth of Truth. You stick your hand in, and if you have an insincere heart the mouth bites it off. I still have two hands!

Me at the Benedictine monastery in Subiaco. Matt is in the background.

Me with Coriel and Charlemagne in Subiaco. John was there too, but he was holding the camera.

There: happy? That's all I have, for the present.

So long then: I'm going to Ireland this weekend!

So, presumably you've been and gone by now. What did you think? Enquiring Irish minds want to know ...

Sigh . . . I didn't go. Cancelled due to fog, no time to reschedule, and due to deception on the part of the airport no money back either. :'( I have distant hopes of someday being able to go . . . as I always have had . . . but as of now, I still have to wait longer.

Well, if you ever do make it, let me know. I'll even give you the native's tour of Dublin (including all the rhyming landmarks, e.g. the stiletto in the ghetto, the tart with the cart, the quare on the square, the box on the docks and even the floozie in the jacoozie, if she can still be found.)

What?!?! *laughs*

I'm going to Ravenna tonight. I hope I don't get lost!

None of it will make sense until you come and see them for yourself!
